I cannot choose amidst multitude of priorities

I am scared of commitment
I feel useless when I am not engaged. Even though overcommitting is exhausting, I try not to miss any opportunities. I will promise anything to feel useful.

half-hearted, burdened, unreliable, compulsive, failing
I want to be
loyal, dutiful, responsible, steady, reliable
I succeed when
I invest time in doing what I love
I nourish myself until I feel like a well-fed python
I allow others to fulfill their responsibilities
I let go of my urge to save the day
